Fat Tire Bike Festival Celebrates 28 years!

This oldie-but-goodie bike festival celebrates Crested Butte as a birthplace of mountain biking. Gudied Rides take place daily for all levels and lots of whooping and cheering accompany the more playful events of the week. There also are plenty of chances to mingle while listening to live music at our expo and enjoying a pig roast,beer garden, and food court.

Events include:

• Guided ride for beginner, intermediate and advanced
• Expo and beer garden
• Live Music
• Bike Rodeo/Relay Races
• Klunkerz Movie at the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame
• The World Famous Chainless Race

Also taking place during the Festival:

• The Denver Post Ride the Rockies (June 18 – 20)
• Eight Annual Wildflower Rush Cross Country and Downhill Races- part of the Mountain States Cup Series (June 21-22)
• Fourth Annual Bridges of the Butte 24-Hour Townie Tour (June 21-22), an event benefiting the Adaptive Sports Center.
