NEW for 2010 Aided Gonzo Rides!!!
The concept behind this epic 3 day ride (ride it if you can) is to connect legendary Crested Butte trails with the assistance of shuttles and support along the way. Lunch will be included and provided by The Sunflower Deli and will be well worth it. The rides will feature some of our Classics like 401, as well as some local favorites like the downhill of Doctor's Park.
Any and all these rides are great by themselves, but combining them in this fashion is a true singletrack dream come true but without the hassles of planning all the needed logistics. Riders who "do it all" will enjoy a contiguous trail covering lots of miles on almost ALL epic singletrack (yup - not many roads!) Hard core Gonzo's can add a bunch of road if they want and skip start/finish shuttles, and every rider will experience sweet alpine singletrack to high mountain buff singletrack and everything the Rocky Mountains can throw at you in between! You might even ride some trails you've never seen before!
Aid along the way will include supplies, food, drink, and an option to skip a leg or bag it for the day. Riders are encouraged to carry adequate supplies to be self sufficient on an all day ride (6 - 8 hours).
Rides are subject to change based on possible trail closures due to snow.

Snow option...In the event that snow hinders our ability to ride on of the predetermined routes we'll add the following ride into the mix... DAY 1: Deer Creek, 401 as an out and back, and the ski area trails DAY 2: EXPLORE CB SOUTH. We'll ride a variety of trails linking CB South to Mt. Crested Butte including: Walrod, 405, 412, 409, Strand, Upper/Upper DAY 3: Deadman's maybe Reno if you are really Gonzo, Dr.'s!
